This Privacy Policy describes how Relayo ("Relayo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Relayo mobile application (the "App").
By using Relayo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Relayo is built to do one thing: relay alerts from your equipment to your phone. We collect only the information necessary to provide that service — nothing more.
Account Information. When you create a Relayo account, we collect your email address. Your password is handled entirely by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication, a Google service) and is never visible to us in readable form.
Machine and Alert Information. For each piece of equipment ("machine") you register, we store the nickname you give it, its machine type, and a unique, randomly generated email address created for that machine. When that machine sends an alert, we store the content of that alert — including the sender address, subject line, and message body — so it can be displayed to you within the App.
Device Information. To deliver push notifications, we collect a device token issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, which identifies your device for the sole purpose of sending you alerts.
Subscription Information. We store whether your account has an active subscription or trial. Payment itself is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, in accordance with their own privacy policies — Relayo does not receive or store your payment card details.
Technical Information. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may incidentally log technical information such as IP addresses as a standard part of processing network requests and delivering email. This information is used only to operate and secure the service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. Unlike many free apps, Relayo does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track your behavior across other apps or websites, and does not build advertising profiles from your data.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Relayo, our users, or others.
We retain your account information and machine data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete a machine, its associated alert history is permanently deleted at that time. If you delete your account, all associated data — including every registered machine and its alert history — is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make such a request.
Relayo is a business tool intended for use by car wash owners and operators. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13.
We rely on established, industry-standard providers (Firebase and Cloudflare) to secure your information, including encrypted connections and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
